Ilhas Studio — Ensaios de Santidade
Book design for Ensaios de Santidade (Sanctity Rehearsals), a project by the artist Miguel Bonneville.
Miguel Bonneville created an installation and a one-to-one performance for the Matadero’s rooftop house in Madrid. For this work, ilhas were invited to design a book that contained the texts that Bonneville used during the performance, playing part of it. The middle section of the book is composed by a golden booklet that Bonneville used to reflect the dim light on his face. In the end, each spectator would receive one of the books.
