Graphic identity and communication materials for the film Ama-san, by the portuguese director Cláudia Varejão.
Ama-san tells a story of a group of women in Japan that do freediving to capture abalons. Its a dificult ancient practise only made by women. Varejão’s show us a glimbse of these women’s life, the life of these sea heroines. The film’s graphic image was developed inspired by the idea sea-heroines.
