Ilhas Studio — Instrumentária Poética

Instrumentária Poética (Poetic Instrumentary) is a book-cd published by the association A Caravana Passa.

This project has two sides: one of them brings together Fernando Mota, Mário Melo Costa, and Vasco Gato in an unprecedented joint creation involving a sound piece, a collection of photographs, and a poem. The other documents the most recent phase of research and creation by Fernando Mota in collaboration with these and other artists, of objects such as the film 7 Poems for a New World, the Concert for a Tree, and the multidisciplinary show Passagem Secreta, which have in common the use of sound instruments and objects created from natural elements such as logs, rocks, and water, reflecting on our relationship with the planet.
