Book design and motion graphics for the performance Lebre – Lances de Hermes (Hare – Lances of Hermes).
The book was designed to suggest something went wrong, with pages that appear to have been badly printed, folded images and texts that are not clear, and also images that are dragged.
ilhas studio created all the images that appear in the book and was also invited to design the graphics for the performance Lebre, which were based on deconstructed motion typography.
Lebre – Lances de Hermes is a performance by Alexandre Pieroni Calado and João Ferro Martins, co-created by Raquel Pimpão and Sofia Queiroz, with text by José Miranda Justo.
The project takes as its starting point the idea that we are in an era of speed and communicability, which are attributes of the mythological figure of Hermes.
Deconstructed motion typography was developed for the show Lebre.
