Cyborg’s Lament (Lamento do Ciborgue) is an author’s edition by the Portuguese artist Miguel Bonneville.

This publication documents the creative process for the performance The Importance of Being Alan Turing. Bonneville has an intimate relationship with real characters in history and a very particular way of bringing them into his stage sets. In The Importance of Being Alan Turing, he develops an obsessive perspective on the body and how it relates to electronic music; bodily experience + mathematical discipline = erotic potency. The book was illustrated by Tomás Queiroz, based on Alan Turing’s plan for the Riemann hypothesis.
