Film synopsis:
Helena is 40 years old and has spent the last two years trying to balance her work and family life while caring for her ailing mother, who has just passed away. Helena has a nine-year-old daughter, Maria, whom she cares for every other week, in joint custody with the father. She has worked for ten years as a film producer and feels oppressed by the daily bureaucracy of her tasks. After the death of her mother, Helena feels orphaned, a sentiment accentuated by the morbid mood that has prevailed lately. A series of sorrows that occurs halfway between the beginning and the end of her life provokes in Helena the awakening of a second adolescence.
